Special production of two manhole sight glasses

ACI Industriearmaturen GmbH has manufactured two manhole sightglasses according to specifications for its customer. This customer wanted to retrofit these sightglasses to an existing tank. In this case, the challenge was that the tank is from the 70s and the documents are hardly legible. On top of this, the new requirements of the PED 2014/68/EU and the current European standards meant that some things had to be ensured in the design. High temperatures and safety requirements were also set very high. Double glazing with flushing connection and metaglass plates were used for example. But pictures say more than a thousand words.
