Tubular sight glass Type 620 with newly developed impact protection shell

For a chemical company on the Swiss border we, ACI Industriearmaturen GmbH, have developed a new improved impact protection shell made of a new material, which has several advantages compared to the previous impact protection made of Plexiglas:

• 100% impact resistance due to dimensional stability when subjected to external forces
• more durable compared to Plexiglas
• UV and heat resistant ( non-yellowing)
• Improved transparency (less distorted) due to thinner material

Equipped with the new impact protection, 7 DN300 tubular sight glasses for the food supplement were fitted with a borosilicate glass 3.3 tube and a 1.4571 stainless steel flange.
