Short description - Bypass level indicator with flange connection
The ACI bypass filling level indicator Type 425 is supplied fitted with suitable shut-off valves to facilitate maintenance to the device.
Type 425 is intended for installation as a bypass filling level indicator outside of a machine wall. The connection with the container is by means of flange connections and the casing itself has ventilation and emptying openings to enable a safe and controlled emptying and filling of the filling level indicator. For maintenance work, the shut-off valves allow the connection to the overall system to be cut off easily, so that the casing of the filling level indicator can be opened safely for repairs and cleaning work.
For Type 425 we use the same high-quality borosilicate glass according to DIN 7081 as for our proven filling level indicator Type 330. These glass panels are available in the “Reflex” and “Transparent” variants. While it is possible with the “Transparent” variant to add a protective mica or FEP layer, viewing panels of the “Reflex” model show the meniscus of the observed liquid significantly clearer due to the internal grooves, so that this model is especially recommended for transparent, colourless process media.
For sealing, we select the seal from our comprehensive range of flat seal materials that is ideal for your application. We stock the proven aramid fibre seals such as KlingerSIL C4400, graphite materials such as Frenzelit novaphit with and without metal insert, Garlock Gylon or pure and expanded PTFE. Soft materials such as EPDM or NBR are also in stock.
