Wedge gate valves Type A-KFB 210 - PN10- GG25

Our wedge gate valves of type A-KFB-210 are based on the technical standard DIN EN 1171 (the replacement for the previously used DIN 3352). Face to face dimensions follow the definitions of EN 558-1 Series 14 (previously DIN 3202-F4).

After assembly, each gate valve is subjected to a pressure and leakage test according to DIN EN 12266 and EN 1074. Required test pressures are 1.5-fold nominal pressure for the valve body and 1.1-fold nominal pressure for the seat.

The gate valves are used for neutral, non-particulate liquid or gaseous medias. Maximum operating pressure is 10 bars, depending on the operating temperature. The highest permissible operating temperature is 200°C.

The valve body is made from grey cast iron GG-25 / EN-GJL 250. Alternatively, our gate valves are available in EN-GJS-400-15 (spheroidal iron GGG40).

Sealing of valve body and wedge is accomplished using brass seat rings. The standard material of the stem is 1.4021. The stem itself is equipped with an re-adjustable gland seal, which has to be periodically checked and retightened during operation. The gland seal as well as the cover gasket between valve body and bonnet are made of graphite.

The connection flanges of the gate valves type A-KFB-210 are drilled according to DIN EN 1092-1 PN 10, with sealing faces type B1. Other flange standards like ASME B16.5, BS, JIS and more are also available.

The ACI wedge gate valves Series A-KFB are operated using a handwheel. A chain wheel is also available as an option. If required, our gate valves can be automated using electrical, pneumatic or hydraulic actuators.
