Short Description - Elbow flow rate sight glass type 570
The ACI corner sight glass type 570 is a flow sight glass with 90° offset connecting flanges and is therefore perfectly suited for installation on pipe bends.
The inspection windows are made of borosilicate glass according to DIN 7080 and withstand most chemicals without any restrictions. For alkaline media and high temperatures, we recommend that the glass surface be additionally protected with a mica pane.
As sealing materials, we rely on high-quality flat gaskets from well-known manufacturers. The KlingerSIL C4400 aramid fibre gaskets used as standard are suitable for most applications. For extended requirements we offer Frenzelit novaphit MST graphite gaskets, gasket sheets made of pure or modified PTFE. We also have soft sealing materials such as silicone, EPDM or NBR in stock for you.
We manufacture the body for you from our range of high-quality steel and stainless steel alloys with pressure equipment approval. From steel grades such as P265GH to corrosion-resistant stainless steel alloys such as 1.4404 and 1.4571, we can meet any requirement. Special alloys such as Hastelloy are also available on request.
We manufacture the connecting flanges to fit flanges according to DIN EN 1092-1, but we can also manufacture other standards such as ASME B16.5 and even special flanges according to your individual specifications.
As with our other sight glass fittings with round sight windows, the sight glasses can be equipped with cleaning devices such as windscreen wipers and spray nozzles. Halogen and LED lights are also available directly from the factory.
