Product information
The ACI flow sight glass type 550S is a robust sight glass for industrial applications. The body is made of high-quality stainless steel casting 1.4408, which ensures excellent corrosion resistance as well as high mechanical strength. The design is configured with welding ends and allows for visual monitoring of media in pipelines under working pressure.
The type 550S is manufactured in accordance with DIN 11869 (formerly DIN 3237) with welding ends.
Gasket system:
The sealing is carried out using proven flat gaskets from leading manufacturers, e.g.:
- Frenzelit novaphit® MST-XP
- KlingerSil® C4400
- PTFE
- FKM
For increased thermal loads, the sight glass panes can be equipped with the following protective layers:
- Mica protection disc
