Type 550S is available in various steel and cast stainless steel alloys with pressure equipment approval such as GG-25, GS-C25 or 1.4408. Other alloys such as Alloy C22 are also available to your specifications on request.
The standard flow sight glass type 550S is supplied with welding ends, but other common standards such as welding sleeves are also possible.
The sealing of the Type 550S is performed with proven flat materials from renowned manufacturers such as KlingerSIL C4400 or Frenzelit novaphit MST. Pure or modified PTFE is also available, as is Garlock Gylon and a wide range of other sealing materials.
For increased operating temperatures or alkaline media, it is possible to provide the sight glass with an additional mica protection layer.
The installation of cleaning devices such as wipers with PTFE, silicone or NBR wiper blades or spray nozzles is possible at the factory with the Type 550S. Luminaires with halogen or LED light sources, also with ATEX approval, are also available on request.
