Tank sight glass type 335 oval
Longitudinal sight glass for level indication 3 bar
Longitudinal sight glass type 335 oval - PN 3
The ACI tank sight glass Type 335 is a lightweight design that offers a significantly enlarged viewing aperture compared to our Type 330 at rather low operating pressure up to max. 3 bar(g). Due to this design, the Type 334 combines the functions of our round tank sight glasses such as the Type 318 and our level indicators for vessel wall mounting Type 330.
Despite the lower requirements, our Type 335 vessel sight glasses are also made of the high-quality 1.4571 (316Ti) stainless steel that our customers have appreciated for years.
The glass material used is the industry-proven borosilicate glass 3.3 similar to DIN 7081.
The fitting is sealed with flat gaskets adapted to your requirements from an extensive range of materials. In addition to the widely used fiber gaskets (e.g. KLINGERSIL® C-4400), PTFE (Garlock GYLON®, Frenzelit novaflon®), NBR, graphite (e.g. Frenzelit novaphit®) and many other branded gaskets are available for special applications.
You can find more information about gasket materials in our Help Center.
The tank sight glass type 335 is delivered pre-assembled by hand at the factory. The pre-assembled unit must be dismantled before the base frame is welded in or on. The glass and the gaskets are then screwed together again with the cover frame, whereby even very low tightening torques are sufficient to achieve sufficient surface pressure.
