Longitudinal sight glass type 336 oval - PN 6

The ACI sight glass Type 336 is a tank sight glass in an oval form and due to its geometry, it can be used not only for the observation of processes, but also as a filling level indicator.

The glass material we use is industry proven borosilicate glass similar to DIN7081. Borosilicate glass is already highly resistant to most acids in its original state, but should strong alkaline media be present, it is possible to use one of our custom-made mica or FEP shields to protect the glass surface.

The gaskets of the fitting is done with flat gaskets adapted to your needs from an extensive range of materials, which, in addition to the widely used fibre gaskets, also offers more sophisticated materials such as PTFE (Teflon®), NBR, graphite and many branded gaskets. Our tank sight glasses type 330 are made of the high-quality stainless steel 1.4571 (316Ti), which our customers have appreciated for years. Like most of our fittings, the Type 336 is available in a variety of materials on request.
