Borosilicate glass according to DIN 7080 or similar to DIN 7080 is suitable for temperatures up to 280°C and for short term temperatures up to 300°C. When ACI mica discs are used, temperatures of up to 320°C are possible. Depending on the geometry, borosilicate glasses are suitable for very high pressures.
